We have represented clients in Commercial and Corporate Law Arbitrations, both locally and in foreign jurisdictions. Our partners and one of our Associates are Arbitrators and have been appointed by the Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, Kenya Chapter as arbitrators to arbitrate in various commercial disputes from time to time.
In addition to our extensive experience in Commercial and Corporate Law Arbitrations, we actively promote arbitration as a preferred method of dispute resolution. We have for many years been involved in sales of land and other real estate property including housing units and development projects, leases, tenancy agreements and disputes arising therefrom.ย
We have also acted for various financial institutions for purposes of security documentation, we have crafted joint venture agreements involving property owners and developers and also structured commercial documentation including loan documentation for investors outside Kenya amongst others.
Our firm has for many years now been engaged in drawing up of commercial leases and dealing with companies managing commercial buildings, handling landlord and tenant disputes in respect of such leases including instructing auctioneers to levy distress for rent and generally advising owners of such buildings. Our firm has also handled transactions involving the purchase and sale of such buildings
